Humans are a strange species. When we see chaos, we seek to find patterns in the mess. It’s almost as if we cannot handle the instability, so we need to come up with crackpot ideas about secret societies planning this mess.

This song is about conspiracy theories, and how we prefer to believe in them than in the truth, because we can’t face the cold, hard facts.
